PlasTEAK Floor Padding is used as an optional padding underlayment for our interior vinyl flooring. The padding helps give your floor a smooth appearance if you have minor irregularities. It also tends to add a more luxurious feel to your finished flooring, while adding comfort similar to carpet padding. Providing excellent indentation resistance to foot traffic, PlasTEAK Padding offers multiple benefits to most applications. It is constructed of a closed cell foam that does not support moisture retention or bacterial growth.
During installation, glue is applied to the substrate, then the padding is laid. Glue is then applied on top of the padding, then the vinyl flooring is laid. Plan to use two layers of glue.
