How to Install Parking Blocks
To install parking blocks from PlasTEAK, follow these general steps:
- Select Appropriate Hardware: Choose the correct installation hardware depending on your surface. Use 12-inch spikes for asphalt, and lag bolts with anchors for concrete installations.
- Prepare the Surface: For asphalt, pre-drill 3/8-inch holes where the spikes will go. For concrete, drill holes and insert sleeves before driving the lag bolts through the parking block.
- Position the Block: Place the block where you want to control parking. Ensure it is aligned and straight before proceeding with installation.
- Secure the Block: For asphalt, drive the spikes into the pre-drilled holes. For concrete, insert the lag bolts through the block into the sleeve and tighten to secure it.
