PlasTEAK provides the following assurance: PlasTEAK provides a lifetime warranty that properly constructed PlasTEAK projects will not splinter or suffer structural damage from termites, dry rot, fungi, or bacterial decay under normal residential use.
These decking boards are 1″ thick with a face of 5″. Each side is grooved to accept a clip. This type of installation will allow the boards to expand and contract with temperature. The clips screw down with a #7 stainless steel square drive screw. Suggested span for joists is 16″ on center. Each board features an embossed wood grain which adds to the deck’s traction.
PlasTEAK alternative decking material comes in five standard colors with a natural wood grain. PlasTEAK plastic lumber is solid to the core, so even when cut, the exposed product maintains an attractive, consistent color.

Each box of 500 clips also comes with 1000 screws (two for each clip). The screws are stainless steel so they won’t rust and they are powder coated with black so the screws will blend in with the clip and not be visible. Each box of 500 clips also comes with two driver bits.
This type of installation will allow the boards to expand and contract with temperature.
